چکیده

Drought is a common and greatly influential natural disaster, yet its reliable estimation prediction remain challenge. The object of this paper to investigate the spatiotemporal evolution drought in Yangtze River basin. multi-time scale characteristics were analyzed based on 19 models 3 emission scenarios CMIP6. results show that CMIP6 model generally has moisture deviation basin, but accuracy been improved after correction ensemble. conditions near future (2030–2059) basin will be more severe than those historical period (1981–2010), with intensity increasing by 7.47%, 18.24%, 18.34%, 41.48% order 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, 12-month scales, it alleviated far (2070–2099) 5.97%, 11.86%, ?4.09%, ?8.97% period, respectively. 1-month events are few, spatial heterogeneity strong under different scenarios; areas high frequency shift from upper middle reaches, lower reaches southwestern part entire future, harm these regions also higher. get wetter, variability increase future. larger time is, intense change be, varying about three times as much scale.

Characterizing Drought and Flood Events over the Yangtze River Basin Using the HUST-Grace2016 Solution and Ancillary Data

Accurate terrestrial water storage (TWS) estimation is important to evaluate the situation of the water resources over the Yangtze River Basin (YRB). This study exploits the TWS observation from the new temporal gravity field model, HUST-Grace2016 (Huazhong University of Science and Technology), which is developed by a new low-frequency noise processing strategy. A novel GRACE (Gravity Recovery...

SPI Based Meteorological Drought Assessment over a Humid Basin: Effects of Processing Schemes

Meteorological drought monitoring is important for drought early warning and disaster prevention. Regional meteorological drought can be evaluated and analyzed with standardized precipitation index (SPI). Two main processing schemes are frequently adopted: (1) mean of all SPI calculated from precipitation at individual stations (SPI-mean); and (2) SPI calculated from all-station averaged precip...

Empirical Subseasonal Prediction of Summer Rainfall Anomalies over the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River Basin Based on Atmospheric Intraseasonal Oscillation

The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River basin (MLRYB) are prone to flooding because their orientation is parallel to the East Asian summer monsoon rain belt. Since the East Asian summer monsoon presents pronounced intraseasonal variability, the subseasonal prediction of summer precipitation anomalies in the MLRYB region is an imperative demand nationwide. Based on rotated empirical or...
